Located in Nimruz Province, Afghanistan, at the Ring Road in Delaram, the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Delaram is a military expeditionary base established by the United States Marine Corps. Nimruz is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan and can be found east of Iran and North of Pakistan. The province only holds five districts of 649 villages with the population of about 156,600.

FOB Delaram was originally a Soviet military compound. It was first named FOB Kerella, after the first Marine Commander of the 7th battalion stationed and perished here. The name FOB Delaram was given later. The base is home to 5th Kandak, 2nd Brigade, 215th Corps, Afghan National Army, Headquarters, 4th Brigade, 215th Corps, Afghan National Army, 3rd Battalion 8th Marines, 2nd Battalion 7th Marines, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 6, 2nd Battalion 14th Marines and 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines.
