Overview of the trial technique to attack the accused:
-planning
-awareness of/ exploitation of victim vulnerabilities
-lack of remorse
-failure to support victim after event
-change in attitude toward victim (before complaint)
{-DC: “wouldn’t you stop talking to (be mad at) her when she falsely accused
you?”}
-seek out “similar crimes” for adult (MRE 413), child (MRE 414) cases;
— if admitted, proof of any crime charged;
— presumptive admissibility –discover other misconduct, esp. sexual assault or harassment
